With the Groms series taking care of the kids, in 2009 Pipeline set about production of an all out first rate Adult Soft Board. Taking the development of the already superb Slick model to another level.
The HDD (High Density Deck) surfboard delivers performance, style and excellent buoyancy to give the user a ride to remember. If you are looking for a soft board that will ride well and last - this is your stick....
Pipeline are a Brazilian made surfboard which have been developed, used and recognised for quality, by the Brazilian Surfing Federation. This has enabled Pipeline to develop and manufactured their boards to a level that far outweighs other soft boards that are currently on the market. Below is a quick list of some of the benefits of the Pipeline HDD;
* High density foam for the deck and base to give the boards excellent durability.
* Twin hardwood stringers for rigidity and strength.
* Twin layer of fibreglass under the deck to give the board strength and to stop the deck dents from long term use.
* Polyurethane and EPS Polystyrene for the core to give more buoyancy and strength than a standard EPS core soft board.
* High Density polyurethane shock absorbers in the tail to help stop any damage.
* Heat sealed edges rather than glued, to stop splitting and de-lamination.
* Slick base for easy quick surfing.
* Fins screw plugs - to stop water entering the core of the board through the screw holes.
* Soft fins to stop damage during storage and to help against injury whilst in the water.
The Pipeline HDD 7'5" is suitable for Adults up to 198 lbs in weight and should be used from beginner to intermediate level.
